Danville’s annual America’s Sunday Supper takes place virtually this year and will feature a keynote address by former Georgia House Representative and Minority Leader Stacey Abrams. The event marks the start of MLK Week and will focus on the 2021 theme “From Chaos to Community,” community-building, and volunteerism.
The event is hosted by Averett University’s Center for Community Engagement & Career Competitiveness in partnership with Virginia Humanities’ History United, Danville Community College, the Danville Museum of Fine Arts & History, Middle Border Forward, the Commonwealth of Virginia, and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
