Tobacco Barns: Preserving History in the Old Belt

Join us on June 27th at the Danville Train Station for Sonja Ingram presents the Tobacco Heritage Project. There will be a showing of Down in the Old Belt: Voices for the Tobacco South followed by discussion and updates on Preservation Virginia and JTI Tobacco Barns Program. The public is welcome to bring photographs, documents, artifacts or other tobacco farming related items to be photographed or scanned. The images of these items will be curated and made available to the public to help with research and education projects. Free and open to the public!
