Organizational Partners
History United is currently housed in the Virginia Humanities and we work in conjunction with key partners and citizens in the community, many of which are featured below. Fundamentally, History United is a community partnership; without the community, this project could not be realized.
The Dan River region is rich with historical resources and individuals who feel strongly about the community’s history. History United does not seek to duplicate the work of these institutions or individuals, but to coordinate with them to best utilize their resources while incorporating new stories. If you believe that you or an organization you are connected to should be involved, please contact us!
