On May 2, 2015 at the History United and Regional Libraries event “Find Your Roots” in Yanceyville, NC, Danvillian Anita Faye Dillard recollected her time working in the textile industry in Danville, Virginia. She spent eight years working in the Dan River textile mill, where her mother and father had worked before her and where she eventually met her husband.
